I was born the youngest of three children, in Gilroy, California. Art has been a significant part of my life, especially at an early age. I have taken a serious interest in drawing and painting from kindergarten through high school.
In 1998, I was accepted to the California College of Arts & Crafts in Oakland and San Francisco. It was there, in which I studied Illustration and enhanced my skills to eventually grow as an artist. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine art in 2001.
As my body of work grew, I realized I possessed a love for the human figure. I developed a technique and style within my work while observing the contrast of light and shadow upon the figure. My media of choice is watercolor and acrylic. My acrylic work reflects my culture and life experiences, where my watercolor work expresses my passion for all forms of art.
